Frequently Asked Questions
How is TPCC different from other vocational schools?
TPCC is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit institution that offers its unique industry specific programs at a significantly lower tuition, so that all interested individuals have the opportunity to better their careers. Other vocational colleges provide similar cookie-cutter curriculum that is financially rewarding for the college and normally "out-price" certain populations, with high and unaffordable tuitions.
TPCC has an extensive support service, ensuring that all students receive "real-world" job experience and job placement assistance with firms that have established relationships with TPCC. Other vocational colleges offer limited internships during their programs and job leads upon graduation. TPCC's programs are efficient and affordable, however, they can be completed in less than six months. Other vocational college's programs are usually longer with less hands-on training.
How long are the programs?
TPCC's program duration ranges from three and a half (3 1/2) to five and a half (5 1/2) months. Students will attend classes for 4 hours a day totaling 16 hours a week. We have courses available in both day and evening sessions. Upon concluding the program, graduates will receive a Certificate of Completion.
The following steps are required for enrollment:

- Show Proof of High School Diploma or GED

How do I enroll in school?
Clock hours earned at Technical Professional Career College (TPCC) for a program attended, may or may not be transferable to any other college or university. For example, if you entered TPCC as a freshman, you will still be a freshman if you enter another college or university at some time in the future even though you earned clock hours at our school. In addition, if you earn a diploma or certificate in a program offered, in most cases, it probably will not serve as a basis for obtaining a higher level degree at another college or university.
Are TPCC credits transferable?
Does TPCC offer programs in another language?
The college does not offer ESL instruction. However, the college will provide individuals with information regarding ESL services offered by other agencies or institutions.
