Scholarships offered through Technical Professional Career College (TPCC) will be awarded in the form of training vouchers. They are awarded to students in recognition of their community involvement and assessment score (Ability to Benefit). Our selection criteria are based on:
- Community Involvement: The student must volunteer 40 or more hours a month to an approved community organization of their choice. Approval of a community organization may be obtained from the Dean of Students upon approval from the President. Also, the student must demonstrate proof of monthly participation.
- Assessment Score: The student must score above average (35 or greater) on the ASSET Basic Skills Exam. This exam is designed to ensure that students will benefit from the training.
To receive this scholarship, students must apply on their own initiative. Notices of available scholarship programs are posted on the library bulletin board. Interested students should complete the application and return it to the college receptionist. Please note that the scholarship does not include the cost of program textbooks. This expense is the responsibility of the scholarship recipient. All applications will be reviewed and determined by the Dean of Students.
