Computer Aided Drafting (CAD)- Dry Utility
This diploma program is designed to provide students with basic concepts and responsibilities for an entry-level position in drafting with an emphasis in Dry Utility Drafting. Students will gain the confidence, knowledge, and application of drafting tools such as AutoCAD and MicroStation, as well as Dry Utility Engineering principles. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will have obtained the necessary skills to be employable as Dry Utility Drafters and General Drafters.
Course Objectives:

Provide the necessary skills and knowledge to apply drafting concepts and principles using the latest drafting software tools such as AutoCAD and MicroStation


Provide the necessary skills and knowledge to practically apply general drafting and Dry Utility Engineering concepts and principles to real-life situations

Provide office stimulation and real-world projects as the assignments


Internship Opportunities:

The college has formed an agreement with a private industry business partner to provide internship opportunities for this program, as they become available, to students who have either graduated from this program or are progressing through the program requirements satisfactorily.
