Computer Technician
This diploma program is designed to provide students with intensive hands-on learning to provide the skills necessary to install, configure, and upgrade computer systems and to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various computer hardware. Upon the successful completion of the program, graduates may be employed as Computer Technicians and may seek certification through completion to become a Certified A+ Computer Technician.
Course Objectives:
Provide the necessary skills and knowledge to integrate and apply computer technician based concepts and theories to real-life problems and situations
Provide the knowledge and understanding of the functions, operations, and primary components of computers
Provide office stimulation and real-world projects as the assignments
Internship Opportunities:
The college has formed an agreement with a private industry business partner to provide internship opportunities for this program, as they become available, to students who have either graduated from this program or are progressing through the program requirements satisfactorily.
