Business Accounting
This program is designed to provide students with accounting knowledge, concepts, and skills to apply basic accounting principles and perform automated accounting tasks using business computerized accounting software. Upon completion of the program, graduates will have obtained the necessary skills to be employed as Accounting Clerks, General Bookkeepers, Accounts Payable Clerks, Accounts Receivable Clerks, Billing Clerks, and Payroll Clerks.

Course Objectives:

Provide the necessary skills and knowledge to apply accounting principles and concepts manually, and electronically, using the latest business accounting software


Provide the skills that are necessary to integrate Microsoft Office Applications into relative tasks associated with being in the field of Accounting


Provide office stimulation and real-world projects as the assignments


Internship Opportunities:

The college has formed an agreement with a private industry business partner to provide internship opportunities for this program, as they become available; to students who have either graduated from this program or are progressing through the program requirements satisfactorily.
