Office Administrator
This program is designed to provide students with concepts and skills to perform high-level administrative support, such as writing and preparing various business correspondences; using the latest computer software; performing basic human resource tasks, such as maintaining and updating personnel files and processing employee requests, such as vacation time and leave of absences; and preparing electronic presentations for senior personnel. Upon successful completion of this program, graduates will have obtained the necessary skills to be employable as an Office Administrator, Executive Secretary, Administrative Assistant, Customer Service Representative, and General Office Clerk.

Course Objectives:

Provide the necessary skills and knowledge to integrate Microsoft Office Applications into the daily tasks associated with being an Office Administrator
Provide the skills necessary to communicate effectively in oral and written forms


Provide office stimulation and real-world projects as the assignments


Internship Opportunities:

The college has formed an agreement with a private industry business partner to provide internship opportunities for this program, as they become available, to students who have either graduated from this program or are progressing through the program requirements satisfactorily.
